From the beginning, our mission has been clear: to ensure that buildings are protected from hazardous ground gases, moisture and structural risks through rigorous, independent verification and world‑class technical expertise.

Who We Are
The GeoShield On‑Site Quality Assurance Program is operated by a team of highly trained specialists with deep expertise in protection membrane design, installation verification and integrity testing. As a fully independent verification services company, we bring objectivity and reliability to every project, ensuring that protective systems perform exactly as intended.
We hold ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification, alongside Construction Line Gold membership, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to quality management and environmental responsibility.
GeoShield is also a founding member of the British Verification Council (BVC) and a recognised member of the Radon Council, CIRIA, CL:AIRE and RAWTA. Our involvement with these organisations reflects our collaboration with industry leaders and our active role in shaping best practice.
Our Work
Every GeoShield verification procedure follows the highest technical and regulatory standards, including BR211 Radon Guidance, CIRIA C735, BS 8485:2015+A1:2019 and NHBC Technical Guidance. Our testing techniques include air lancing, tracer gas testing, smoke testing, dielectric and spark testing, vacuum box testing, low‑voltage electronic leak detection and mechanical point stress testing.
These methods allow us to thoroughly assess the integrity of installed protection systems, identify risks before they become failures and provide full compliance assurance for both new construction and complex engineering projects.
Beyond ground gas verification services, GeoShield provides specialist oversight for subterranean waterproofing, flat roofs, including blue and green roof systems and attenuation or SuDS system installations. Our teams work closely with design specialists, installers and site managers to ensure that every detail aligns with the required protective strategy.
International Reach
While proudly based in the UK, with our nationwide coverage. GeoShield operates globally, with verification services and testing programs active in Ireland, throughout Europe and as far east as the Philippines. Our international work is supported by UK Government guidance and, where applicable, support from the Department for International Trade.
