GeoShield are proud to announce that they are now members of CIRIA.
CIRIA is the Construction Industry Research and Information Association, a neutral, independent and not-for-profit body.
Their vision is to be a leading enabler and preferred partner for performance improvement, driving collaboration across built environment and construction sectors for the identification, development and transfer of knowledge.
GeoShield, established in 2015, are one of the UK’s leading independent 3rd party integrity testing, validation & verification companies, specializing in the hazardous ground gas protection, waterproofing & SuDS management (subterranean attenuation & blue/green roof deck) fields. Wherever Building Regulations insist, design guidance advises or warranty providers stipulate, GeoShield provide validation of the material choice, the design & it’s ability to provide a solution against the established risk. On-site the systems are integrity tested & verified before, during & after application.
GeoShields management team has been implementing On-site Quality Assurance Management Programs for over 3 decades across the globe, international projects include (prior to 2015), New York University in Abu Dhabi, Karolinska Hospital in Sweden and more recently (post 2015) major stormwater lagoon linings in Singapore and the Landmark projects in The Philippines. That said, GeoShields true focus is its operations in the UK & Ireland.
GeoShield belong to and are active members of many trade associations & self-regulating bodies within the UK construction industry. Managing Director, John Sparks, is a board member of the Radon Council & was one of the co-authors of the recently revised Building Research Establishment document BR211 Radon : Guidance on protective measures for new buildings, Paul Colbeck (Projects Director) is a founder member of The British Verification Council & its first Chair.
