Adam Oak New GeoShield Technical Manager

Please join me in congratulating Adam Oak who has now been confirmed as the GeoShield Technical Manager.

In this position he will assist in all the ever growing divisions of Geoshield, hazardous ground gas / radon / waterproofing / stormwater management, in the UK & Ireland and further afield should the need arise.

The technical managers role involves active participation throughout the project cycle – supporting design function to ensure compliance with industry standards, conducting risk assessments, and providing technical support and training within the wider business.

Adam’s responsibilities include creating method statements, organising the completion of pre-verification plans, advising clients regarding the intricacies of our testing techniques, supporting the company operations during our verification & integrity testing activities, and supporting the QA/QC team for handover and certification processes.

As part of the role Adam will also manage marketing equipment for trade shows, mentor the operational side of roofing division, expand GeoShield’s radon testing services, and provide continuous professional development seminars related to ground gas protection / SuDS / roof and podium deck testing.

Adam is a proven team player, since joining GeoShield he has worked closely with Jake, Val and our office team, bringing strength & experience from his waterproofing background.
